ATLUG Summer Meeting this Thursday

The Atlanta User Group for IBM Collaboration Solutions has in next quarterly meeting on Thurday August 21 from 11:30AM to 1:30PM. This will be the 52nd meeting of ATLUG with the venue being the IBM Facility at 6303 Barfield Rd, Atlanta.

The agenda for the meeting (as provided by Chairman Randy Davison) is as follows….

Charter ATLUG member Tom Dixon will present Catavolt’s Enterprise Application Mobility system which allows you to easily create secure enterprise apps that integrate with your existing systems. No programming required. Fast personalize apps for users; secure manageable platform for IT and meaningful outcomes for business. Anyone involved in, or interested in Mobile development shouldn’t miss this informative presentation. Also, by “Charter” I mean Tom and I were members of the very first incarnation of ATLUG founded in the early ’90s.

Peter Presnell will deliver another of his Modern Domino presentations updating the latest news on the technology front.

Larry McCants, our IBM liaison will tell us all about “Re-branding IBM’s cloud offerings to the IBM Connections family.” Also, depending on the alignment of the stars and phase of the moon, Larry might have a startling new announcement, one which may – I repeat, may require an NDA! You have to be there to find out.

Lunch is provided by IBM.
