No stone is being left unturned as we look at every aspect of ATLUG’s Day of Champions on April 7. To kick off the day we will be having a 1-Hour Speed-Roaring session in which attendees will be split up into 12 small groups and rotate round the room to meet each of the day’s presenters as they give a short session introducing themselves, their company, and/or a technical topic.
I am particularly keen to seek content included that would be of interest to the many Notes developers who still spend the majority of their time doing Notes Client development. XPages is still important, but there is still a large section of our community interested in advancing there Notes client development skills and very few events catering for that need.
Two of the Speed-Roaring sessions will cover a swag of best practices, tips, and techniques for keeping your Notes Client applications in sync with modern developments in application development. Tim Tripcony from Best Methods will present Future-Proofing LotusScript while I will be doing a similar session on Future-Proofing Notes client applications.

To me XPages and Lotusscript is not mutually exclusive and can play an important part.
